Just out of interest I put in my details (as if I lived in NSW) and some of the items were:
    - Return & Earn: drink container deposit refunds
    - NSW Unclaimed Money
    - First Home Buyers Scheme (highly unlikely in my scenario)

These don't seem to be Bargains/Deals to me, just reasonably generic info that people may / may not be aware of.

      Yeah right …..
Since when did Gladys and gang care about the common man, sitting in her ivory tower.
I bet if I put my details, response will be:
      - We need to get more PAYG and land tax from you. Your details have been passed to ATO.

While some here may complain that this is not a "bargain" it is truly a "bargain" to the many people who are unaware of all the rebates and exemptions they may have access to.
It is good to see that some effort has been put into consolidating these NSW benefits into one list making it easier for so many to find.
Young people may find that they are not "entitled" to most of the benefits but that is life. Us oldies also went through those times also. We had to just "suck it up".

    • How much money is sitting in unclaimed CTP refund? In today’s era back tracking to registered owner is not that difficult. Also what a decision that if refund amount is <10, it won’t be refunded…

I found $78 in unclaimed money!

    • 240 gb ssd and change left over for the November maccas deal.

  • I found this very helpful, thanks!
