Who do you use for your home and contents insurance? We haven't shopped around for 3 years, would like to get some recommendations for a short list. Currently with ANZ, owner occupiers.

There are hundreds of insurers out there, was just seeing if the OzB community could offer their insurers of choice to create a short list…as I stated above.
I researched this heavily when I was shopping around and for me Allianz came up tops.

I had nrma for years. It wasn't the cheapest. It was easy and simple to make claims from personal experience. This is only with car insurance. Never made a claim with the house.
I probably should of shopped around to get it cheaper.
GIO have been the best price for us for a few years. We have a house on Sydney Lower North Shore.

I changed from GIO to Allianz recently, and saved about 30%.
Allianz not listed on some of the price check sites, so I'd not seen them recommended in my previous searches.
