Hi all,

Went to EB Games today, and noticed they have a flyer for Pokemon Legendary

Just have to walk in to a store and ask for it, should give you a card with a code in the back to input to your game.
In your game, you just need to hit up mystery gift, tell it you want to enter a code, and place your code in there.

Ultra Sun: Lugia Level 100 + Gold Bottle Cap
Pokemon Sun: Lugia Level 60

Ultra Moon: Ho-oh Level 100 + Gold Bottle Cap
Moon: Ho-Oh Level 60

I didn't see this advertised anywhere? But may have missed it, get your Legendary Pokmoen today to become a Pokemon Master :D

Is the Zeraora giveaway still going to happen?

    • Honestly not sure, I haven't heard about it since the initial information, checked EB Games almost every few days and haven't seen a sign up or anything either. Last time I spoke to EB Games they told me they had no idea whats going on and why they haven't got it. Hopefully it comes soon, but I have a feeling it may skip us this time.

  • no hidden ability for both. very disappointed

  • Is it a voucher from there to redeem?

    • It's a card with a unique code on it, which you can redeem in Pokemon SM/USUM

  • I never got into Pokemon so I always wondered, how the (profanity) does this work?

Are there like X amount of Pokemon in the game that you can get, and EB just have codes to unlock them early, or is it actual store exclusive DLC characters that you can't buy? Because I've spent enough time on the eShop staring at everything on there to know there's no DLC you can buy for these games. So is it just a code to unlock a super powerful one? And in that case, if it's like a year or two after release, why wouldn't you already have the lot unlocked?

    Just wondering.

Yeah, basically you have two games in this instance "Sun" and "Moon", most Pokemon you can find in both, but certain ones can only be found in one game or the other. The idea is you have to trade for them with friends (or buy both).

However there are certain Pokemon that are meant to be special (legendary) for the most part, you typically can't find them in the game (though they usually come with 3 in every game), or buy them. Usually theres a story attached to them. But you can't get them anywhere else besides from Pokemon (or trading with a friend).

They are as you say supposed to be powerful (though if you played pokemon before you can usually make your pokemon more powerful). But basically yeah its just an unlock code you can get to get the pokemon.

And in that case, if it's like a year or two after release, why wouldn't you already have the lot unlocked?

Now that quite a few games are out, theres a lot of legendaries out there to collect so it takes a while, also you're at the mercy of Pokemon, so sometimes they give out the one you need, sometimes they don't. They've been great recently but usually they don't give it out so quickly. But yeah as you say a lot of people do have them unlocked, and they've become "Pokemon Masters" as they've collected them all. Most other people just get a few here and there when they remember and it pops up on Ozbargain, it can sometimes be a drain having to walk to EB Games to get it, or sometimes they run out of codes.
