  Actually I have the same question, didn't find any information regarding activation date on the webpage. It only mentioned "First recharge needs to be made before 4/2/19, next two before 8/4/19 to receive the offer."

Bought one at Coles today for $10 for porting for the F&F deal and it said it needed to be activated within 28 days.

  It doesn't need to be activated within 28 days. The sim expiry is the date on the rear of the packet.
