That Bunnings model has Overload protection but not Surge protection.
The equivalent Bunnings models with Surge protection are $30.50 (white), or $31.40 (black)…

Reject shop have a Mistral branded equivalent of this for $14. The Jackson may be better build quality though.
The Mistral plugs have a closer spacing. Difficult with some larger adapters
same spacing as jackson to my eye
