The wyze cam v2 seem better than the xiaofang to me and on forums out of the box and no flashing needed. 14 days free online storage too. Any opinions or deals in Aus anyone can offer? $20 in US and about $70 here in ebay seems a bit rich. Any help appreciated.

I didn't unfortunately, ended up getting it's brother the Mini Xiaomi but have not played with it much yet. However with Amazon now shipping to Australia again you can probably get the Wyze Cam there but you will loose the warranty.

There's a catch with the "14 days free online storage" because after it detects movement it stores only roughly 12 seconds and it won't do it again for another 5 minutes making it almost pointless from a security point. I think their advertising is misleading as they seem to hide this a bit. Making what reviewers call very generous compared to other services, really not generous at all compared to other services that store all alerts for a few hours for free like Zmodo. This is the only thing stopping me from buying this camera.
I agree with you I was surprised that people were attempting to sell the camera for so much on eBay Australia. Your better off buying the camera off the manufacturers website, shipping is reasonably cheap.
