I'm looking to buy a DJI Mavic Air before flying to the US next week (where I'll claim the TRS).
Currently https://www.d1store.com.au/ will give you a quote for $1399 if you submit a request on their website, but they wont list this on the actual site. Because of this, JB refused to match it (where I can get an additional 5% off from vouchers).
My next cheapest research seems to show officeworks at $1449 https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/dji-mavic-… , though I may be able to get officeworks to match D1store but then I can't use 5% JB vouchers.
My current calculations are:
JB match D1 with vouchers and TRS $1189
Officeworks match D1 with TRS $1196
JB match officeworks with vouchers and TRS $1231
D1 with TRS $1259
The easiest will probably be option number 3, just wondering if anyone knows of a better deal which will let me claim the TRS. I'm not sure if clickfrenzy will do much to be honest..
I will be in USA on black friday, but even then DJI announced their price cuts ahead of the day and when you add tax to them they're still slightly more expensive than what I've calculated here, and I miss out on local warranty.
how long until your vouchers expire? any chance of using them before they expire on something else?
factor in the DJI care, these things aren't super reliable (buggy firmware) and things like interference and bird strikes can be expensive to fix. it's insurance but probably worth getting even if you're careful.
