AppleCare Policy and Purchasing iPhones Online

So I was wondering when purchasing iPhones from online should I be wary about what I’m looking for? I’m looking to find an iPhone XS but I was a bit slow on the mobilieciti deal the other day and missed out. I see websites like becextech selling it for $1539 but I’m uncertain if it’s Australian stock or whether or not it’s applicable for AppleCare.

  • non Aus stock iphones only have 12m warranty, and apple CAN choose to tell you to go to the country of purchase to repair it (eg; if it's HK stock, go to HK Apple) but they rarely (if ever) do

    • Say I were to buy a HK device, would I have any complications purchasing applecare in Australia for it?

      • i wouldn't think there would be any problems, but remember you have 60 days to purchase it after your purchase date

      • +1

AppleCare only covers the device from its original country of purchase/origin (iPhone). So even if you purchase AppleCare for it, it will only be covered at its original country of purchase.

        • Thanks that was what I was looking for. I'll make sure to get AU stock

  • Price Match eglobalcentral au at Officeworks for $1528.55

    • Eglobal is closing down
(Edit. Went to the wrong eglobal site)

    • Their prices are all over the place!
