  • The slave 1 price is great. The Boba Fett minifig alone goes for anywhere between $10-$20 used. I think it was only available in this set BICBW.

  • have fun chasing COTD for missing bit-n-peices :)

    • What did u miss?
There were missing pieces in the lego?
I ordered previous Star Wars lego but have not finished yet, not sure it has missing pieces.

    • Also have fun waiting for your order to arrive as well. I ordered my stuff on 1/03/2011. Today 24/03 still "Processing". Epic store really. And no email to let you know your order is delayed as well.

      • I cancelled my order!! Terribly slow !!

  • I've had missing pieces from buying Lego Kits in retail stores as well, it's not COTD's fault.

    • you can exchange in retail stores but not with COTD!

      • As I wrote in a post above - you just email Lego, and they replace the missing bits for free.

  • Wow, I haven't even bought from this bargain yet (still deciding lol) but I bought a lego set and then a few years (I'll say that, years!) later I finally got around to making it (huge one) only to discover two missing pieces :( Well I just jumped onto the Lego site, filled out the form and they posted out the two missing pieces - free of charge - no questions asked ;)

So I wouldn't worry about buying any of these - COTD may not have great customer service, but Lego sure does!

  • Im the person that posted the last issues with Catchoftheday.com.au After buying Lego Starwars set i opened it to find dam missing pieces. 111 in total..

Anyway what i can say is if you are willing to wait then go the Catchoftheday sale. or otherwise pay extra and get it from kmart, target, or myer … so on….

because if there is an issue. catchoftheday will take ages to fix it up. and i am still waiting for my lego parts from denmark to arrive… but its confirmed but took me along time and hassle to get them…

if you buy from target kamrt or any shop, i guess a refund on spot or exchange.. so no hassle and no worries.

also you got to put in your mind the sale from catchoftheday.. its like 10-to maybe 40 bucks cheaper so you got to see what your willing to spend and if this is a bargain worth buying.
