Do Juicers Like Mod or Kuvings Ever Go on Sale?

I'm thinking of buying a cold press juicer (yes, have bought into the hype that they have more vitamins, etc, not entirely sure about that) but Kuvings is so expensive and I wondered if it went on sale on Boxing Day or another time of the year. Does anyone know?

You know 90% of people who buy juicers use them less than half a dozen times, so why not pay a fifth of the cost for a virtually unused one on Gumtree/FB marketplace?

  • If you are trying to be healthier and consume more vitamins why don't you just eat the fruit and vegetables you plan to juice? You will get more fibre this way and you will feel much fuller than drinking a liquid. P.S are you thinking about buying a juicer because of the doco on Netflix - Fat Sick and Nearly Dead? I thought about buying a juicer too after watching it but eventually realised I would use it twice and never again!

    • I actually can't tolerate large amounts of fibre and end up not eating not fruit or veg for that reason. Not just that one, I've seen and heard several juicing success stories (not even counting the ones I don't believe like the cancer cures).

I bought a hurom juicer few months back and it works very well.

Great for the kids as I can hide kale, spinach etc in with some apples or pears and ginger or orange juice with carrots etc
