wish I was that rich that $19 dollars looks like 19c to me

    • -3

There are only rich Asians who are not crazy to even buy this @$19

I have read this post several times and still cant understand what you are trying to say

In Sydney, there are plenty of crazy rich Asians.

        • -2

Lol it's easily understood just playing with words. It just means they won't even buy this book at original price, as they are not crazy enough to do so even being rich. How's that?

          • @neonlight: Not much better. English not your strong point, I take it?

            • @aquaman: Can't help you. But your sentence is also incomplete. No one is perfect mate. So yes neither are you in regards to having strong English, strictly speaking.

    • Pretty funny how i made a joke about 'cracker food storage boxes' and it gets downvoted to hell, any other racial jokes such as this is upvoted cus its a 'light hearted' racial joke lol

  • I can't seem to access this even with my Aussie Amazon Prime account :S

    • If you’re on iOS you may need to buy in a browser. They seem to disable app purchase so they don’t have to give apple a cut.

      • It keeps trying to send me to the US store… where it's $0.72 (presumably USD). How peculiar.

"Kindle titles are available for US customers on Amazon.com.
Continue shopping on the Kindle Store at Amazon.com.

        Have you moved recently?
You may change your country/region on the Content and devices page."

EDIT: In my manage devices page there's a bar at the top asking me to move to Australian Amazon. Wonder why it only asks now given I've been on Amazon Prime for ages with an Aussie address thanks to the AMEX offer.

EDIT 2: Wish I had bought it when the US store popped up. Now it says not available in my region :S

        • Weird. Says sold by Amazon Services Australia on mine.

          • @[Deactivated]: "This title is not currently available for purchase" where the 1 click purchase button usually is.

Kept refreshing and now it works!

It did same to me on the iPad, jace. So I went out of the webpage from the link and into amazon.com separately and then searched for crazy rich asians kindle. That worked. It now appears in the kindle app, I have kept kindle on the old US account even though I have Amazon AU prime.

Ah is that why. Thought it was pretty counter intuitive.

Just a heads up: this deal is part of the Black Friday specials on some ebook bestsellers, offered by Amazon until November 23rd.

    • Still $11.99 on Apple Books AU.

    Should made it 88 cents

  • Wait, this is part of a trilogy?

    • +8

Yep. The second book is China Rich Girlfriend and the third book is Rich People Problems

Thought you were joking but you weren’t

Saw this at a bus stop, thought it was a reality TV show

    • Go watch the movie!! It really is THAT good.

  • -6

Wow.. Does this come bundled with 50 shades?

  • Thanks, worked fine for me. Showed up at 99c and delivered straight to Kindle from iOS.

  • Good find, was actually considering getting the ebook or physical copy for a while.

I need an incentive to read that…

Which is better? Book or movie?

    • Book in my opinion; movie has major plot change which will be interesting to see when they make the second movie …

    • Movie is better IMHO. They smoothed out the rough edges of the book’s plot for the film. Also I didn’t like the writing style of the book.

Is this Australian real estate guide?

    • Haha.. Wait for the negs

Beside the mahjong, dim sung, and couple of Chinese words in the background I couldn't see anything to do with the majorities in Asia. Maybe should be named "Crazy rich westernized Singaporean"
