Wet N Wild Sydney - Best Way to Get Cheap Entry?

Bargain hunters, help!

Trying to find an affordable way to get three kids to wet n wild Sydney for a party.
I thought I'd either find a Groupon or they'd enter as kids, but nope, once you're over 110cm you're a full adult fare (wtf)…
Then it turns out I can't even go in as a non-riding supervising adult, so I have to fork out too. Gah.

I saw that the Sydney Thunder offers a free day pass with membership, but I'm not that bothered about any other benefits they have so kind of not useful.

NRMA seems to have 15% discount for members but I'm not a member!

If anyone knows of any other possible ways to get discounts I'd really appreciate it.
Otherwise hoping a Groupon or Scoopon appears before this weekend :(

The NRMA link is Here for 15% off. Membership isn't required through that link.

    • Thanks but it requests a member number at checkout :(

      • Oh damn, I swear they didn't use to do that!

        • Yeh :(

Might be able to find a family member who’s nrma but even at 15 off it’s still expensive!

          Gimme an Amex offer!

  • Sydney Thunder Membership gives you one free ticket per pass. Get free Royal Easter Show entry too. I calculated it years ago, to see that it is cheaper to get the membership pass, then to actually pay for the Wet n Wild tickets.

Costco has cheaper day entry passes available if you happen to be a member.

    • That I am! Any idea what sort of price?
Can’t find anything online about it

      Massive thanks dear sir

Called and went to Costco - $47 each so a great saving thank you!

Wife also a big fan of ozbargain now :)

      • That's a fab result! I don't suppose you know if Costco also offer discounted season passes (not day pass)?

        • Nah only day passes but a good find regardless!

If you will be going more than once then you can also consider the platinum pass -$110 which comes with free fast pass as well. It comes with 2 single use day tickets if you have any friends who dont want a season pass. Basically sell the single day tickets to known people for $30 each (or more if you like) and it makes the pass for the rest of the season $60 at the minimum.

NOTE: The pass holder has to be present with the person using single use ticket so you cant just sell to anyone.
Both the single use tickets cannot be used on the same day.

I know its a long process for some but for others who have friends that plan to go soon its a pretty good deal to get a cheap season pass.
