30% discount could mean that the ticket sales are only half way there , and the promoter's livin on a prayer about selling some more.

    • According to the title, it's a 70% discount…

30% All Tickets to Bon Jovi Concert

      • Probably needs to be 70% to get me thinking about going! (Fixed now)

        • get me thinking about going!

"Who Says You Can't Go Home"

      • With that kind of discount it will sell. Keep the faith.

    • ticket sales are only half way there

It's no "Bed of Roses" for them…

Forecast is for rain - better watch out because the stadium can get slippery when wet

    Same for the Brisbane concert

    • Also the same for Sydney. I've updated the main post.

Says alot when they reduce tickets for any event….

I would have loved to seen them… 20 years ago.

    • Honestly, I DID see them 20 years ago and it was kinda meh, just your standard fare, not very exciting. I saw them for the Circle tour more recently, (2010) and it was actually amazing, way better… better song line up, they did some great technical effects, and the new songs they debuted were good. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen, and would go again. I would think (hope) this tour is just as good, they are old but still pretty good at what they do. If they were coming to Perth this time I'd go to this, alas they aren't this time.

I just think that the economy, plus massive venues are just tough to sell out. Especially in Australia where the population isn't quite there. I think that's part of the reason.

why don't bands just stop doing this and just charge sensible prices and sell out places?

I suppose there is die hard fans etc, but still….. How many bands do we see dropping prices or doing 2 for 1 deals?

The stadiums are simply too big for the demand in my opinion. Also I hate it when acts play massive stadiums, I would rather pay more for a more intimate show, where you're closer to the act and the crowd numbers don't matter as much. The Melbourne one should have been at Etihad Marvel Stadium or AAMI Park.

      • Yeah, when I see "Arena" or "Stadium" I'm already half out. All the best shows I've been to have been small.

        • That's what she said.

@shmahoo: Maybe out of frustration about you..but this guy is talking about stadiums..

          • @shmahoo: I normally think this comment is dunce comedy but I must say in this instance I chuckled.

            Still no upvote though.

      • Maybe instead of stadiums , they should have chosen a tour of RSL's instead.

    • If its too cheap then scalpers will make more money.

  • Thank you! Got mine :)
