I bought AC Odyssey for $67 on release day and still playing it. Such a wonderful game. A great bargain at this price.

Other than that graphics are a bit shite and blurry on the XB1 for BO4 and treyarch haven't addressed it.

Go back in with your receipt and refund the difference. I work for JB and generally we do that for any item, provided it was less than a few weeks ago

Rockstar games usually don’t go down much in price.
I doubt it will go down in price until 2019. CoD, Assassins Creed, Fifa, NBA games all come out every year or two so they can be bought for cheap. Tomb raider has been a flop sales wise and spiderman is an exclusive so there's only so many that they can sell before having to reduce the price. RDR2 on the other hand will probably maintain it's value as it's a one of a kind game.
Also like the guy said rockstar games don't come down in price. GTA 5 is still very expensive considering the demand, same with LA Noire or GTA 4.
If only digital is the same price. I value not needing to change disc these days.

Isn’t this just during installation? It doesn’t really spin up after it is installed.
maybe but every time I start the ps4 with a disc inserted already, it makes a noise and then stops but resumes again when I start the app.
Digital is so much more convenient. However one good thing about disks is that you can trade them in/sell them and you end up saving money. I can trade/sell a game to a friend or just go to EB to exchange them. Very useful for SP games that you feel you are done with.
I wanted to make the switch with this generation of consoles but the physical copy of games almost always being cheaper is just too tempting for me.

There is a deal for the Xbox One S upcoming for $279 that has some Fortnite thing and Gears Of War 4 but I wouldn't get that. At this point in time I'd only buy the PS4 Pro or the One X. I bought the One X and even though I've barely used it it's a good console.

Overall the console is good. The best part about it is not the specs but instead the backwards compatibility feature. The ability to run old games in 4K @60fps is by far in my opinion the strongest suit of this console. The specs are good, for $500 you can't get anything better.
Also Microsoft recently surprised everyone by making a new studio, acquiring four more AND Obsidian. After I saw that I knew that the future is good for Xbox.
Meanwhile Sony seem to be just relaxing from their PS4 success. The fact that Microsoft is trying to merge PC gaming and the Xbox console is fantastic, I think it's the best idea in the longrun.
Sadly for me I'm a PC gamer so I have barely even used the Xbox and may end up selling it one day. The only reason I bought it over the PS4 is that someone in the house already had a PS4 so I thought for future purposes may as well have both consoles xD
If you want to play the exclusives such as God Of War, Spiderman, Last Of Us 2 etc then get the PS4 Pro but otherwise get the One X. Better console, game pass, backwards compability, links to PC etc just seems like a better console at the moment if you take away the fantastic exclusives on PS4.
I'm expecting a good deal on both consoles (or all four, if you want to look at it that way). You think JB wants to just give away that segment of the market to whatever EB Games comes up with?
