They've been having issues in the last week, it took 8 days for my in stock products to get shipped. I ordered on Monday last week (paid for DHL), payment got taken on Friday and got shipped out yesterday.

    • Thanks for that, it's useful to know. Hopefully things are sorted now.

    • Exactly the same experience for me, although a few items got removed that were meant to be in stock but weren't.

    • yes, iHerb must be busy.
in the past, it took about 5-days for the items to arrive, and i was very impressed.
now, it's been over 1-week now, and i guess AusPost could be the bottle-neck! :-P

  • code didnt work for me…

10% GST gets added though :(

    • yes.

also, noticed my credit card charged me a 'foreign transaction' fee for buying from iHerb NL

so, with 10% GST and Foreign Tx Fee, … it is not exactly the best deal but it's OK, i suppose

Before the GST applied to overseas purchases pretty much everything was really cheap on iHerb, now they have the GST it still cheaper compared to what you buy here. I noticed the FX fee as well best to use ANZ Travelers Adventurers card for points + no card fee

      • You are on ozbargain but you use a card that charges you fees?

        Why?

  • I was positive I placed an order the other day but I haven't heard anything from them and I just checked and apparently I didn't because there's no order. I can't remember everything I ordered… I can't decide if I want to order 'again'. Too many sales have been damaging to my pocket.

    • Had a lot of trouble with my last order, couldn't get it to stick after going to paypal. Eventually went through but had to rebuild cart every time.

      • Same here. Tried many times with different cards through paypal and no dice, even contacted support on chat and they kept saying everything’s fine… took about a week to finalise.

        • Same here ~ their site has been quite unstable for a while.

    • They cancelled my last order saying that they didn't receive payment. They just hadn't processed the paypal payment on their end. Couldn't be bothered chasing it up so hopefully this order works!

  • Bought some creatine & protein and was overcharged by about $15- Grand Total was meant to be $50ish, but I got charged $68. No idea how it happened, because even having everything at full price didn't equal the overcharge.

    • GST?

    • The prices are in USD unless you change it to AUD

    • I was overcharged by iHerb when I placed an order last night.
The total was in Australian dollars, approximately $62 including shipping (free) and GST. They charged me $68. I showed them the transaction for $68 from iHerb and they said on their end they only charged $62 and that must be customs. They haven’t even dispatched the parcel. WTF?

  • what do people buy from here?

I got melatonin last week with the code SUPPS which I swear was also 11%+11%

    • There was a 11+11% recently, probably that one.

Would have been nice to see iHerb go a bit larger for Black Friday but oh well, still a decent deal.

  • What's the verdict on using iHerb codes as well as CashRewards? I know in the past I did this and never received my cashback. Anyone managed to get both or is it a matter of using which is the best of the 2 - in this case iHerb code.

    • Nevermind I misread the OP. He was saying to apply the iHerb coupons via CashRewards, not claim CashRewards 3.5% cashback.

      • For clarification, if the store's code is listed on the cashback site then the cashback will still apply if you click through the cashback site first, and then apply the store coupon.

See shopback iherb page and cashrewards iherb page - they both list BLACK

  • Just a heads up, Cashrewards told me that if you use any loyalty credit accrued on iHerb on your purchase, that you don't qualify for cashback. So even though I used a code that was listed on the Cashrewards site last time, they still declined my cashback when I queried because they said using loyalty point discounts disqualifies it from cashback— I was logged in to my iHerb account at the time and iHerb automatically adds your loyalty discount from your last purchase to your next purchase. So…

The annoying part is, I have definitely used CR while logged into my iHerb in the past, and used loyalty credit, and the click through worked… but ymmv… lately the click throughs with CR are buggy for me with them despite not blocking ads or trackers, and the queries are always denied, so pretty disappointed lately.

I decided to switch to Shopback for future purchases from iHerb from now on. Hopefully their tracking works better, and it's larger cashback anyway.
