Very bad products. A poor man pays twice…….
That seems a bit harsh - there's at least a hundred products on there, 100% are "very bad"?
Not having a specific go at you, I'm just looking for useful feedback as I'm looking for a portable 12V fridge. eBay has Glacio units everywhere at the bottom end, not sure how Kenner / Waeco stack up. Sure I could pay $1000 for a top brand but I'll be using it for about a month per year, and a lot more poor than your 'poor man'. (Plus: this is what credit card extended warranties are for)
I found this old thread: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/379873 but not much advice there either. Is Kenner as cheap a brand as say Glacio/Waeco? Is the compressor crap or 'good enough'?

I had one of these and the lasted around 11 months.
I tried everything to get it fixed under warranty. First they blamed me for the unit to break (they did not even inspect it). Then they said they can't do anything as the product is from China.
STAY AWAY.
I now have a Snowmaster (4 years) and not one problem s far. yes they a bit more expensive BUT they are the best. I can also mention National Luna here. If I had then money, i would have bought one.
@Boertjie: Thanks for that - I found a few snowmasters around 55L but looks like they're double the price, national luna's seem to be about 5x the price for that capacity.
So just to confirm - you bought the 55L Kenner w/LG compressor from this company, and the Australian store/company refused to honour the warranty? Were you able to contact the manufacturer? Good to know.
Well I had a waeco cf50. Spent $500 in repairs after it ran out of warranty. Now I have an Engel 40. Happy with it. I find camping fridges too big on the outside and too small on the inside. 😀. On my caravan forum people seem to be happy with their Kings brand ones. That Kenner with the LG compressor has a two year warranty. Of course they still have to be in business then. I had a fridgemate one before and it failed and the company went bust. Good luck with your purchase
FYI I can't find any trace of Kenner as a brand/company - so it looks like if AusAuc refuses the warranty, you might be in trouble.
As a registered brand, KENNER offers a one or two year warranty. Since there are many similar products on the market, please make sure it is the KENNER brand. Thanks.
