Found a decent deal on the Oral-B 8000. It's the cheapest I've seen it.

Currently going for $149.99 @ Chemist Warehouse, $159 @ Harvey Norman and $179 @ Shaver Shop.

  So are these really worth the premium pricing over the $25 Oral-B Vitality? I'm currently using that but am looking for something even better.

    According to my wife’s feedback. It is better than those 25 ones. But worth or not depend on how much discount you could achieve. I brought her a 9000 around 120. She is fine.

    Yes

    • They rotate at a higher RPM
    • They also pulsate, so they also clean like the phillips sonic care
    • The Lipo and NiMh battery keeps a constant voltage throughout the week. So the first brush of the week gets the same RPM and the brush at the end of the week. The NiCd batteries in the Vitality means you get a good brush the first time off the charger, then its all down hill from there.
    • Carry case is useful but could live without.

    The rest of the features like bluetooth and different cleaning modes are rubbish and i dont use them.
