Cashrewards - How Does One Know if The Purchase Is Recorded?

I made a purchase this morning via CashRewards Android App but odd that they're not showing under PROFILE > My Rewards

Perhaps not the right section to look into as rewards may not shown that quick, so onto my question:
How do I know if the purchase is recorded? Hence just that peace of mind knowing it will eventually be recorded under 'My Rewards'.

    I just buy and pray

    • LoL

  • You will receive an email from cash rewards once the tracked purchase has been processed. It is not instant - sometimes takes a day or so.

    • Okay .. cool … funny that after I wrote this, I got the email. Thanks folks !!

  • Yeah i dont think there's any way to be 100% when purchasing. You get an email in a day or 2 normally (even then not always). But yeah i always start from scratch after clicking through from the cashrewards site after hearing if you already have stuff in cart it won't count. So i make sure i go from cashrewards click through, search for the product i want and then add and buy and i think it's always worked so far.

    • It sounds and looking more safe if done within the mobile App.

  • nevermind…

    • expired?

  • You can also ask them to investigate/follow up if the transaction wasn't tracked. I had a number of items not track through and I've always been credited the relevant amounts when I've followed up with CashRewards.

    • Noted; thank you!

  • I would say 2-3 days for most; if you are waiting any longer, you probably won't get it. Most of my tracked sales are within 24 hours to 2 days, and I have conducted over 100 transactions.

I can confirm that tracking for Aliexpress went downhill recently. I think their partner is scamming their clients. Personally this is my opinion. I knew the old one had issues too where higher sales just didn't track as it was deemed a commercial quantity.

I do all my purchases with the latest debian live cd, so that everything is clean. I reconfigure the browser to allow all cookies, check for do not track and so on. Do not use a VPN or switch it off at the router (where enabled) because it can send flags up and give another reason to not reward you cashback. Another important factor is if you are running pi-hole or dns adblocking (e.g. adguard dns), you need to turn it off; preferably flush dns cache or reboot both modem and devices being used. Most modems also act as a local dns caching service.

Anyway, I came to the conclusion that if I have done all this and mine aren't tracking, then some of their partners are definitely scamming, lol. I suggest you guys try this method too and make a blacklist of merchants.
