Looking for a laptop for my daughter. It will be used for homework and some games. She mostly plays Minecraft but will probably want to play other games like Roblox and Fortnight at some stage.
Hopefully there is a good Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal that someone can point me towards???

Ideally you can find a ryzen model of something, or a laptop with a low end Nvidia dGPU.
Besides that can't help you a tonne, my research was based on the $700-$800 budget, and wouldn't want to do you wrong when ither around here could help you better.
Does it need to be a laptop? Desktops generally offer better value and more power if you don't need portability.
I was after something similar for my son, and got a refurbished Dell 9010 (i5 quadcore) and a gtx 1050ti graphics card ($260 + $220) which easily runs fortnite on high/epic settings in 1080p.
if you go to their websites they should have the minimum system requirements listed. I know the reason why fortnite is so popular it is configured to work on just about any system. I'd say the built in intel graphics should be able to handle it 600 or above.
