How Long to Oven-Cook Scallops on Shell ?
1st says oven grill 3 minutes @ 180c
2nd says oven bake 10 minutes @ 240c
3rd says oven bake 20 minutes @ 200c

What are the temps that each recipe cooks at?
Given you can eat them raw and it is a crime to over-cook, shorter at a high heat is better.
I'd give them maybe 2 mins one side, one min other side in a pan on high heat basted with butter, and then finished for 4-5 mins in an oven at 150c.

when i was a chef i hated people asking me how long it takes to cook things.
cook it until it's cooked.
you have several things t consider weight, size temp.
i would choose D. ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE INCORRECT
you just need to seal them in a pan briefly.

Remove them and clean the shells, sear them in butter and garnish. Baked scallops sound disgusting TBH
Put one in at 240 degrees, take it out at 3 mins, see if it's done. If not, put it back another 7 mins, etc. It's fast enough you can literally see for yourself how long you like it cooked.
Depends on which recipe you're going to make.
3rd one takes longer because its mixed with a load of bread crumbs.
don't stack them on top of one another.. they will take longer to cook…

take scallops out of shell, bash them flat & cook them on the barbie
