PowerEdge T30 Server - thoughts

I just spontaneously purchased a Dell PowerEdge T30 Server for US$299 (~AU$415). It's been sent to a forwarding address so there will be additional fees once it arrives.

This was part of the black friday sale over at Dell and I quickly jumped on it. Now i'm wondering if it is reasonably good value or not. A quick search before buying showed that Dell Australia sell it for over $1000 and a few other stockists too.

I plan to replace my aging HP N40L microserver.

        shipping on something that heavy would scare me off.
