Are these genuine? I’ve bought a few cards over the years that supposedly are but have had them fail after a year or so (not even after much use)
Newegg is a very reputable USA-based retailer. I'd be very surprised if these were fake.
Thanks OP! I've been wanting to get a bigger card for my DSLR, but hate dealing with fiddly tiny MicroSD cards. I'm stoked to get this decent card in a proper SD card size.
Forgive my ignorance but why do manufacturers continue to create the SD size? Always thought microsd was more convenient as you can use an adaptor to ensure compatibility for SD slots.
The read/write speeds are better on SD than MicroSD. Makes a huge difference in my Sony full frame cameras, especially when shooting in burst. If you're not worried about speeds, you can adapt MicroSD cards no problem.

Yeah, that's the reason why I feel like Dell got a bit ahead of themselves by changing the card reader on their XPS 13 ultrabook to MicroSD. Until more DSLRs / mirrorless cameras are sporting MicroSD, it seems a strange choice.
That said, this 256gb Sandisk Extreme MicroSD card on Newegg is V30, which will handle 4K/60fps video.

Plus no one's accidentally inhaled an SD card when switching it out.
Not fast enough for 4k high bitrate. I think Sony M are still the best priced option.

But you need a very fast card for it
100Mbps is 12.5MB/s. A U3 card is more than enough for 4K high bitrate.
