[Switch] Octopath Traveler $74.99 Delivered @ OzGameShop

40

Been looking for a deal on Octopath Traveler all Black Friday. This is the best I could find. It's only $5 off, but it has free delivery on orders over $50 which works here. It's better than nothing i suppose. It also says "20% BACK IN PLAYER POINTS Earn 14,998 Player Points worth $15.00 for this purchase" for the black friday sale.

Been looking for a deal on Octopath Traveler all Black Friday.

The eBay BF deal on Thursday would have made it a better price. Usual price of $79.99 on eBay would bring this game to $68 plus cash back, ebay gift cards etc.

    Also $74.99 on amazon

Same price on Amazon free delivery and 10% back with cashrewards which is real money and not some lock in point system.

    This isn't a "bargain".

God damn Switch games are expensive.

    • +1

It's a popular system and Nintendo owns the E2E for the proprietary cart manufacturing. The games are expensive because they can get away with it.

Yeah, Nintendo are as bad as Apple.

        (hyperbole.. kinda)

        • It's not hyperbole. But at least you can resell physical carts making gaming effectively free after the first $350 to buy the system. With Apple, the system is up to $2k and nothing physical to resell other than the phone (if it's still working)

    • Games by Nintendo are $65 at launch.

      • So why is this $75, posted here and deemed a bargain?

  • Bought mine from Gumtree a few months ago for $50. Great game if you are after old school RPG.

  • Not sure … but wouldn't you get it cheaper with the Newegg deal. It's $91.30 - $30 voucher —> $61.30.

    • ….but then needs a US eShop account for any DLC. At least the EU titles supplied by OzGS are happy on AU eShop.

      • No DLC planned for this game anyway.
