eBay Click & Collect Delivered to Wrong Location?

Has anyone had issues with eBay Click & Collect? We made the most of the Switch eBay deal from The Gamesmen last week and selected to pick the order up from our local Big W so we can pick it up outside of 9am-5pm. We've been watching the tracking and can see that for some reason, it was delivered to the Post Office today instead of Big W, so now we can't pick it up until the weekend. Our options for doing anything about it seem limited. Has anyone experienced this before and did you find a solution?

Go early and pick it up from the post office.

  • it was delivered to the Post Office today instead of Big W

This happens when the dock is either closed or the storeman taking to long to accept the mail article. The article is carded either way.

  • I had a similar issue with the surface laptop deal last week. They were supposed to deliver it to a Woolworths store but they delivered it to Woolworths head office!! Had to go and get it from their mail room.

I found the whole process crap as no one wanted to take ownership of the issue .. Woolworths said they did not receive it, DHL said to contact ebay seller and ebay seller said to go back to Woolworths. Never again will I use click and collect from ebay.

On a side note the woolworths worker did say they sometimes leave it at the post office.

    Good luck!

  • I have sold something on ebay and the item lost in the transit for click and collect

  • I had the same issue. Message was could not be delivered. Makes no sense, and very annoying. Only happened once and since ok to pick up at big w.

  • From all angles, CnC is shit. Why eBay continue with is beyond me. It represents 1% of sales for me, but 20% of my issues.

  • Happened to me today.

Inconvenient as there is no postoffice in my suburb.

First time its been an issue and I like the idea of the service as many deliveries to my home get chucked on the doorstep, easily stolen.

I don't remember the last time a delivery person actually knocked on the door.
