These are terrible in Australia due to FBT

  • We get a 30% discount off our power bills :)

      Compared to what?

  • The JB HiFi Commercial website has the occasional good deal, but the discounts don't stack with the main retail deals of the moment, so it always pays to check the main website and others first.

  • Can I ask why the purpose of this post is? Ie what are you going to do with the information? Is it purely curiosity?

    • I was hoping to find suppliers who offer discounted giftcards and cash back as a company benifit.

Just looking to find who else offers these type of services

  • I get to take a 2 hour dump in the morning on the companies time!

Gee 500 hours per year on the toilet just at work, That's worth like $15k

      • 464 hours/year to be precise and I'm a corporate lawyer billing at $800/hour … so it's closer to 371.2k/year … good perk, eh?

I don't think ide worry about the money tbh. 2 hours everyday is a long time to drop the kids off.

I feel like you should be making an appt to see a colorectal specialist…

  • If you are a smoker at my place you can take a 15 minute break every hour.

    • Holy crap! That is good! A smoker could theoretically work 25% less than non smokers, but get paid the same.

However, they would have a higher chance of serious medical issues or die sooner, so evens out I suppose?

      • What if I have a pack of those chocolate cigarettes?

  • Telstra gives 25% off their bill, and there's a portal staff can access for discounts on various websites. There's also random discount codes for things like Dyson, KitchenAid, Samsung

  • Many Tier 1 tech companies like Facebook, Google, Amazon have fully stocked fridge with beer and soft drinks and good selection of fruits and snacks. A smaller one I went to visit had beer on tap, won't name it.
A company in financial sector I worked for provides Milk, Choice of cereals, butter, peanut butter, jam, choice of tea and biscuits and a good Italian coffee machine. A lot of staff had their daily breakfasts and plenty of cips of coffee.

A major banks provides home loans with 90% LVR without LMI and a free credit card.

  • For the amount of $, 90% no LMI offer is the best but then you might be one of the professionals like doctor with standing no LMI offer or not really interested in buying a house.

The 2nd best is company paid private insurance. I'm pretty sure they are paying full FBT for this but offering it anyway to match the deal with overseas branches.

Then for more generic things, some jobs with EBA comes with extra sick and carers leave.

Company paid fancy phone and car.

    Overseas training and conferences.

    Catered lunch every day.

And permanent working from overseas. This is not a monetary benefit but think about living in somewhere where living cost is substantially lower.

P.S: reward gateway is meh when considering credit card surcharge
