Door Bells - Any Recommendations

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a door bell for me to purchase. Needing one that is long range as home is double storey, so looking at a long range one. Also looking at 2 receivers. Looked at online, but a little confused. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I bought a long range one from Bunnings. Unfortunately, my neighbour had the same idea and bought the exact same one. Sometimes when someone rings their doorbell across the road, my doorbell rings and vice versa. My advice would be get one where you can change the frequency channel.

    • That… that's hilarious. How did the manufacturer not consider this and use slightly different freqs for each?

Yep, at first I thought my neighbour will figure out the same thing and change his door bell, but nope. Been here a few years, still happening, so I guess we are seeing whose doorbell will outlast the other or who gets fed up of the problem first. Lol.

    Also looking at 2 receivers

Just get 2 retrievers instead. No door bells necessary.

    • But you can recharge envelops, unlike Chum or Pal

  • do you know model and make? On a big block, so no problem with neighbour's ones.

    Get something without battery.

Google or search eBay AliExpress etc:
    Door bell without battery

    • ChiMot, yes when I was searching, I looked at a simular product and looked good, as hate batteries. Only thing wasn't sure, was the distance, and how loud it would be.

      • how loud it would be

You will need a Gong lol.

  • I bought this 2 receiver set from Kogan for (at the time) $15 delivered not expecting much, but it's been pretty good so far. Not fancy (e.g. no adjustable volume so it's quite loud) but it works well enough at a distance some others have had trouble with.

    • Thanks for that. Yes, did see that also, as on Kogan's mailing list, and on special at moment. Also read comments about being very loud.
