  • Jeebus… usually about $40-45 on aliexpress for something like this

Is it though because I know you can get big power banks but not USB PD ones that can deliver 72W!

      • I'll bite…

Are these to charge multiple devices at one time? If so I stand corrected. Just 72w seems like a crapload of power output

        • On the box it says charges 3 at a time. However I assume that would be 72W total.

72W shared. The PD port is limited to 60W (20V/3A).

  • Picked up the 27k for $118.85 during the eBay 15% off sale. This is still a good price however IMO!

  • this vs the RAVpower PD powerbank, i thoguht about this for a good hour last night, $72 vs $126 - i think the larger 27K is only really a good option if you think you will use it to recharge your 15in MBP otherwise the 60W output isn't really needed

    • They both have the same capacity. If you need to quickly charge, or your device needs a certain profile to charge then this is worth it. Otherwise I probably would go with the RAVPower or Xiaomi ZMI due to cost.

  • I got it cheaper on ebay 15% off.

  • 20k has been in the low $80's before.

    • paid around $75 i think from good guys. there was limited stock though.

  • Meh, can get it on ebay cheaper

  • I have had a 20000 for awhile pretty good powerbank.

One thing that annoyed me was on their website and packaging they show a really nice looking braided USB a to C cable and in reality you get a thin shitty looking one, I'm sure that breaks some kind of Australian consumer law.

Also another quirk is it doesn't auto start charging when you plug in like the Xiaomi. But it did keep my laptop at 100% charge for the entire flight to Bali.

This battery is 99.9Wh so .1 under the limit for flying.

  • this was actually working yesterday, nobody seemed to know.

    • Yup, nobody seemed to bother to make a post either, considering how many people were requesting 30% off in the original thread

      • It was working last night, all good..

  • This has been great for me. Seen it a few times for around 100, got mine for 95 at a good guys sale.

  • Nice for a PD unit. This will charge any laptop so you don't have to travel with your charger.

  • 20k mAh or more can be had for cheaper, but not if you need 60W output out of one port. Those are rare (at least in my searches) and always expensive. Planning to use mine with a Lenovo. It takes 45W minimum but I'd like to pretend that my battery is a power supply and so use it before the internal battery.

    Least that's the plan. =)

  • If you just want to use it for charging, is there any difference between a USBC-USBC 3.1 cable and a 2.0 cable from Cygnett?

    • +1

For charging applications less than 60W, they will be the same. But if your laptop's stock charger is >60W e.g. 87W Apple charger, then these cables will not be able to go any further than 60W

  • And they're gone. Great

  • Does anyone know of any other brands of batteries that do 60w PD? Don't mind if it's a no-name.

  • No Teal? Wife wants the Teal version.
