Not sure on the arm, but the 4K transfer is terrible. They've removed all the grain and gone crazy with the DNR so it's a wax museum

FYI arm is all plastic not metal

Yeah that's what I have heard, but until the Slideshow collectable (metal , moving arm with brainchip) is available ($2k aud) this is the best way to get an endoarm haha.

      • Think I pre-ordered this last year but after reading about the cheap arm, decided to cancel and just get the normal disc edition.
That moving arm is actually by Blitzway.
Sideshow just distributes them in the US.

    • Well alot of people hate grain. I think it looks better than what it did. Rather have no grain than lots. So many 4K titles are full of grain and it's like they were filmed in a snowstorm (Labyrinth, Texas Chainsaw Saw, Underworld) I really like this transfer of T2. Saves me from encoding the video myself with DNR which can take ages. Anyway is the arm really plastic? Obviously these kinds of models are usually done cheap but I thought because of the big price it would be mostly metal…

no care for the blu ray, but that mechanical arm looks so cool!

    • wonder if the fingers are pose able?

      • thats my next project, to see if I can find a as close to real metallic one thats life size

        • There a motorized full metal one available for preorder that I want but it costs $2k haha.https://www.popcultcha.com.au/terminator-2-judgment-day-t-800-endoskeleton-arm-brain-chip-1-1-scale-life-size-replica.html

            @mitch650: that looks damn amazing,

definitely one of the things id buy if I won lotto

      • They aren't unfortunately, just watched a video, still looks pretty cool though

  • Says us$112.99 when I click on the link.

    • Yeah the price in title includes shipping and tax :)

  • oh man, I was so excited, but then read the reviews, don't know if it is worth it just for the arm

$183. Too much for a plastic arm. Reviews say quality is bad

I know I haven't been here that long, but I was wondering if you could tell me… I mean, if you know… Well… where it came from.

    • from the future of course

is the arm a fully functioning mechanical one ready for transplant?

    amputating in advance…

  • Do I need to make a new US Amazon account or can we just use our Aus Amazon accounts?

I worry about how Amazon will ship this…

    • Probably via fully automated drone.

    • You can use your account on any Amazon site.

From the video reviews, this comes in an outer cardboard box and looks fairly well packed.
You can choose to have sent as a gift with the whole thing put inside an Amazon box.

  • Living tissue over metal endoskeleton…

  • So, anyone order this and actually have it ship yet?

  • Whoever got the last of the Amazon stock got a nice deal… US$78.20
