Thought i'd test with one of their 3 examples dealt with so far to get the 'Too late somebody's beaten you here' just to see if it was working but I guess it's too smart for me xD

Close enough is good enough - I actually searched up how to block telemarketers. Searching up both leads to the same link.
Accounts / Search history will mess with results! My primary email showed completely different results to my secondary email, which were different again to my housemates search results. Could be something to do with ad / search settings too. A winning answer may not show up any ads at all as in above comments >.>
The ads do not always show up on the first page nor always at the top~ Looks like they typically show up in the first 3 or so pages. So scroll!

It says if it's already been found it will show you a "Too late" message similar to the Powerball one so I really don't understand what's happened - maybe other people have won on my terms but they've not updated the website yet?

Yeah it's strange like that. What you described didn't happen to me but it did occur to my housemate.
From what we can figure, it popped up because he previously went to the website, and it then shows up as a visited history.

I didn't find anything at all on friday to be honest. And I did have my ad block off as well.
I was telling my wife just then about this comp and she came back with similar results, taking her to the 'how it works' page.
She however was using mars bars in her search queries
So queries like
"how to deep fry mars bars"
"how to melt mars bars"just came up with the 'Oh, so you like mars bars, huh?" ad and then leads back to How It Works page.
I'd avoid using mars bars in your searches completely.

Although, hmm, interesting. I made that search pretty much the day after this comp link was posted and I received an Ad from Mars, but it was not a winning search.
It is even up above in one of the comments.
There's a lot of others I have searched earlier and they are now appearing in the Mars website. Maybe Google/Mars doesn't like me…
I keep finding ones that aren't listed as being found, but it takes me to the main page for the competition.
I assume one of the marketing people got in to their adwords account and adjusted previously non-winning search terms in to winners.
Today is the last day of the comp and they still have 100 boxes left to give out.

How are you doing this wizardry?! Nothing I try works but after one is revealed I retry my similar search and it comes up. Or one that I searched before will be found after I searched it.
Well…all I can say is persistence pays off~ (And I typed some tips based off experience above, and even adding 'mars' changes results).
The searching isn't that great. There's a whole bunch of different reasons why it could work for some, not for others.
tallkid123 could be on the mark. Last day and Mars flipped some switches and now it's a free for all~
Alternatively, Google is messing with results based on our own personal search history, location etc. So some of us will never see certain winning results. I cannot, for the life of me get my own winning answers to provide the winning links again…yet "How to win Powerball" consistently shows up with the link.

I found this term awhile ago but it was one of those terms which led to the how it works page if you clicked on it.
I figured it would be a valid term towards the end of the comp so I just tried it this morning.

Ok, now this is ridiculous. I searched this severel times and nothing. I also searched "How to meditate" a few days ago and then it was a winning answer yesterday. Then I searched "how to knit", which wasn't on the answers page two minutes earlier, and it said someone beat me there. Absolutely frustrating.

I couldn't claim my prize so I've contacted Mars and waiting to hear back from them. I better not post it yet in case someone else could still claim it. It's not showing up in my search results anymore but it could in someone else's.
I typed in "How to install" and the suggested search box showed "How to install artificial grass" so I clicked on it. It said the winning answer was "How to lay turf".

Oh yeah, I just realized by post above was a bit but vague (that's what happens when you copy and paste and don't reread it). I was meant to post that they did follow up and my post above explained how I got my winning answer. I took screenshots when I won and they verified and confirmed my win after I emailed them. If you took screenshots, send them to Mars and you should be fine.

When I won my first box and had to email them to prove I won, they contacted me saying they'll be sent after January 6. I assume there's a delay due to the Christmas break so if you haven't received them yet, don't worry. I didn't receive an email after my second win.

I found one but the link just shows the "sticky search-uations_" page but doesn't actually do anything. I've tried contacting Mars via facebook messenger, their website contact form (its broken), tried calling Mars, but they have no idea. I guess I've given up :(

I suspect there's some sort of geo-location or IP blocking for those who are having trouble winning this. I gave up in late December after possibly 100s of searches (probably hours wasted…), as I'm 100% sure quite a few of the questions I searched earlier did not win, even though they have since now appeared on the site.
