Marked down from $169 as is Aldi’s practice over time.. Is this a good price? Would it make a reasonable computer monitor?

    Anything under 1080p is terrible for a basic monitor as text would look bad on it

    The online manual says it supports 1080p.

      Which manual? Phillips official site says it is strictly 1366x768.

      Probably supports a 1080p input source but doesn't display 1080p - big difference.

    May I suggest searching for basic computer monitors on the 2nd hand market. My two 24 inch 1080p monitors only cost me $60 and $50 respectively. They haven't skipped a beat.
