I am looking to travel to Tokyo somewhere in mid-october next year and plan on booking it with points.
Depending on the flight from singapore-tokyo, I have a choice of business class on the 777-300ER or the 787-10.
Has anyone flown either of these and knows which would be a better choice?
As I understand it, the 787-10 is newly refurbed but the seats are much narrower?

I'm 195cm and 125kg, the 787 Business Class on Singapore Airlines has plenty of room even for me.
I am the same build and height and it was fine to sleep in as well… more comfortable than the a350 biz class seat which has really bad leg room for sleeping if you are above 175cm. With the 787 the window seats have some closer to the aisle and some closer to the window… the ones closer to the window have more privacy
773 will be the better product. It's a long haul aircraft so the seats will be designed for comfort on longer flights. The seats are huge and the screen is quite big.
One thing that was putting me off was the lack of leg room unless you are sitting at a bulkhead seat. I think if you want to lie flat, you need to sort of curve yourself to the left/right to fit in the little foot hole?
Yea it is for the newly refurbed 777s but its not too bad…. the a350 one is horrible. I flew from to San Francisco in the a350 and had a terrible time trying to sleep. The 777 looked similar but subtly bigger which made a huge difference and had a great sleep, 7 hrs straight.
not curve, it's just when you lie flat, you lie at a horizontal angle.
Will the A380s still operate on this route? If yes, why not go Suites ;)
Once you go Suites, ANY business class is B.O.R.I.N.G ;)
Definitely is but won't be enough points to fly there and back with my partner in business and above. I can't handle economy seats longer than 4 hours lol

I think you might be referring to the 777-300ER in regards to refurb, considering the 10 version of the Dreamliner only went into service earlier this year.
Have sat in both on J. Prefer the 773 over the 787-10 same reasons as above. Am flying to Japan in 2 weeks on : 772, a380, 773, a330. Thanks to Ozb :D:D
I have taken both…. yes the seats in 787 are narrower but more like a cocoon… it wasnt too bad. The 777 if its not the newly refurbished one has wider seats yes but the entertainment system definitely is showing its age. I prefer the 787
