I ordered the inspiron 15 7000 last week. $1199 (40% off) - 12% OZB bday cashback. Seems like good value but not received yet so can't really comment further. Just checked and base discount is only 30% so not so good now.

Worth noting that I got screwed around by Dell with the order. I called up a few days after ordering because I didn't get receive confirmation email. I was told they couldn't process the paypal order so I paid again using CC over the phone. I was ensured it wouldn't effect my cashback, but I'm not so sure.
24hrs later and I now have both the paypal and CC transactions 'pending' and order still not showing on Dell website
A mate ordered same laptop on same day and his paypal went through fine.
i got the 15 7000 2in1,for similar price pretty happy with it so far.
delivered in 2 business days from when I placed the order.
What is the best Dell laptop bang on $1,000 or just over?
