as if you would walk away right after you posted something, you would usually monitor it for a few minutes.

It is a new offer as of today. We hope to leave it as permanent but at this stage it is a limited offer until we decide otherwise. Posted it as i believe it is a fantastic offer and not many other online stores are offering FREE postage on all orders regardless of what the order $ total and the weight. Take it or leave it :)

Well if you compare the total cost (item + shipping) for a particular item from say last week and today… you'll save on however much the shipping cost is?
Plus, I think its a good heads up. I wouldnt know about this new free shipping if it wasnt for this post. Also, you'll probably save on petrol too, as you dont have to drive to a Bevilles store.

as per my above comment, what's the difference with the software title I mentioned? what do I save by downloading it today rather than next week? There is no difference, but there would have been a difference if I bought it before it went free.

"Free postage" on products which are amongst the lightest weight and most ridiculously marked up things you will ever buy isn't much of a bargain.
I'm going to have to agree with JV on this one. A bargain, as far as I am aware is a special deal that is only for a limited time and offers a saving of considerable value against competitors. This isn't a deal, just a simple change of site policy.

i thought jv was a bit harsh initially but after reading all the above comments i agree this is not a special offer or deal. someone above was looking for sites to buy stuff with free shipping, should try eBay. There is a link on the left to filter your search to help you look for stores that offer free shipping. other free shipping sites examples include cdwow, zavvi, book depository.
