I'm an amazon prime member and i got expedited delivery with my pre order of Smash Bro's. My question is will i really receive it on the day of release? How are peoples experiences which Pre Order expedited delivery? I'm out at Wetherill Park NSW which isn't too remote i wouldn't think.

I pre-ordered both Mario Party & Pokemon.
I live in Melbourne. Mario shipped from Melbourne, Pokemon shipped from Sydney. Both arrived on time :)
Got Diablo 3 the release day.
Got Pokemon before 10AM day of release (Canberra).
most were good but had a couple games not come till monday
I got RDR2 two days late after I pre-ordered it. I then contacted Amazon customer server over chat and they gave me a month of free Amazon prime for delayed delivery. YMMV.
Delayed Diablo 3. Got $5 credit after complaining
I am in the same boat as you. Originally it said it was being shipped yesterday, now today.
Not sure what my chances will be, but a few complaints ought to get some amazon credit if it doesn't arrive on time.
It's a bit hit and miss. Most stuff has been fine, but Pokemon shipped on a Thursday for delivery Friday and didn't show up until Tuesday.
Aussie Post stuff up, went from NSW to Melbourne via Perth. They did give me a free month of Prime and $15 credit though :)
Just got an email saying it's shipped and for some reason I got $10 courtesy credit, so only paid $52!
No idea why. Thanks Amazon!

My copy has been delayed till the 11th :( Got $10 credit though
