  • Any Yokohama gling/gling?

    • Hey mate, did not enquire about price matching them. He said the Continental ones they get for cheaper and hence price match.

Costco and Kmart are American, so the house [not doctor!] tires wins!!

      :-)

  • You can also spend all those bonus Flybuys points at KTAS, too. Just convert them into Flybuys Dollars on your account, then swipe your card in-store. I get all my car servicing done this way.

    • please dont, transfer all your flybuys to velocity this month and get bonus transfered points, and then sell it on classified.

      • How do you sell Flybuys points?

        • you cant, need to transfer them into Velocity points

      • Good deal as long as you have a Velocity membership (which I don't).

  • I took my car to KTAS for new tyres and:

    • They massivly over torqued the nuts, to the point that all 20 bolts needed a breaker bar to get them off
    • Damaged a rim, said they would repair it, took 3 months to repair and return it (I have a spare set of wheels for my car)
    • Said it would take 2-3 days to get my tyres in, took 3 weeks, I had to chase them the entire time, they never returned a promised call

And on servicing a car they:

    • Bent the wear indicator on brake pads out of the way, why? no idea, if they said new pads were needed it would have been done.
    • Never replaced the air filter they said they would

Avoid them like the plague they are

I have had bad things done when getting tyres fitted too and slack incompetent servicing… but not at KTA.. at many other places including stealerships. It's not the badge on the shirt, it's the gronk in the shirt.
      Happens everywhere.

    • I just bring my wheels in with another car problem solved.

Please advise which Ktas to avoid

  • with these offers on at the moment, just be aware that there could be long queues of customers snapping em, so get in quick and don't leave it till last moment

  • Kk93, you wouldn't happen to have a receipt would you?

Or has anyone else seen decent deals about?

Looking to do some price matching and grab a new set of Continental UC6 from KTAS. Cheers
