Did I get a Good Deal on this Brand New Honda Jazz?

I just bought a brand new Honda Jazz, and I want to know if I got a good deal.

Below is the deal I got:

  • Brand New Honda Jazz VTi Auto - Phoenix Orange (Pearlescent Finish)
  • "Accessory Pack 2" (Bonnet Protector, Floor Mats, Centre Console Armrest) + Luggage Area Protector Tray + Door Visor Set
  • 35% Window Tinting
  • 7 Years Warranty and Roadside Assistance

2018 MY19

I paid $17,800 at Honda Stealership.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Nope, take it back…What happened to the AMG?!

    • Still got the AMG Lol

This is a gift for Mum's milestone birthday/Christmas.

      • Regardless of getting a good deal of not, I can tell, your mum is going to be disappointed. She's expecting an AMG now, you set the bar too high.

You have bought the Honda Jazz. Enjoy. What could you do if 100 people here say its not a good deal? Or its a good deal?
Just believe yourself you did well in haggling and enjoy …!

    • That's true but I am still curious to see how I went… Kind of like a post exercise evaluation lol

  • You did awesome. Sweet dreams.

Whether you got a good deal or not is completely irrelevant at this point, as you own the car. You obviously liked it, and were happy with the price, so yes, you got a good deal.

Nah. You got tripped off. I got one exact same for $17,700.

    Pointless thread is pointless.

    • You paid too much too, I got mine for $17,600 … with a full tank of fresh petrol ;)

      • I’ve just checked and it turns out I got 37% tint so maybe it’s a better deal.

    Did Westpac finance it?

If i recall the jazz vri auto retail is somethijg like 20k
Recently they had a sale of 17990 with 7yr warranty and thats it.
I think it was slightly negotiable

    Say $200 for the tint.
Say $200 to $300 for the accessory kit.

    I think you did tops.

Edit: the 17990 deal might have only been for red too

  • They are expensive for what you get, and we get a lower quality stripped down Thailand versions

Go see next door @ NZ and weep and India has a diesel version, anyway: [i drive one]

Turning circle is a disgrace for a 4m vehicle

Rear windows dont go all the way down

Always having issues with front windows, rattles and jamming

    6L/100km [1.5 M/T] is really average

    Fuel tank is too small

    Front leg room is tight

    Only 1 rear seat pocket

Front seat should be designed so it lies flat like the rear seat does [and so i could sleep in it]

    Hwy @ 100kmh engine is screaming, under-geared

    Overpriced

    BUT

Great inside room and design, great performance for a 1.5L, magic seats are great, more of a wagon/van than a hatch [and better for it]. Strong on resale, easy to live with, i like but dont love it

    • J.CLARKSON….

“Honda’s engines used to be so sweet and willing, like well-trained Jack Russells. But the engine in that Jazz? The only dog to which it can be likened is one that’s dead”

      &

"I can’t believe Honda has sunk this low. Six years ago it was making cars and television commercials that made you dizzy with desire. And now it’s making cars with engines that turn a lot of fuel into nothing at all."

      OUCH!

  • My wife has a 2012 model GLE, simply loves it for around town, especially at Bunnings with the seats down and huge flat cargo area, has excellent vision too and runs on nothing.
