  Bonus Gift Card is valid for 3 months from date of issue. You are pretty forced to buy something within 3 months or you lose it.
  Better wait for Woolies or Coles give you 10% extra bonus and you have 3 years to spend your gift cards.

    3 months usage is pretty lousy.. I thought they changed the law that gift cards cant expire so quickly?

      They're promo gift cards. David Jones' ones expire after a month, but unlike Myer, you can extend it to three years by buying a gift card and paying with the gift card.

  On myer website, you have a window of 20mins, just after placing the order, in which you can cancel the order via My Orders. Just pay using using gift card, and after the order is cancelled, you will get an eReturns card.

        Sorry, I miss read the line, it is not eligible on buying gift cards and paying with gift cards.

        Cashback is not eligible if a gift card/eGift card is used as payment or part payment.

        Cashback is not eligible on the purchase of Myer gift cards.

  I am a bit worried about holding too much myer gift card.
  Their website gives me error from time to time, their stock is low, online order processing is really slow now.

    Only get the gift cards if you know you're going to spend them very soon. You don't know if they will go into administration or not.
