Looks like it is controlled by mobile phone so might be a good one for older kids. My kids aren't allowed smartphones. I just bought a Hubsan X4 H107L for $57 delivered. If you want a camera, the H107C has a camera function.

I don't know if I should get this for indoor play and get the spark for outdoor. Or just get the spark for both indoor and outdoor. Has anyone used the spark indoor and is fine?

  I've used mine inside.
  Can be a bit tricky, have to turn off the detection etc unless you have a massive open living area.
  Scares the begeebus out of the kids and pets :(

    The Tello is much easier to fly indoors. The prop guards do a great job. I would recommend getting a controller for it, as it makes flying much easier.
