  • Nice find. Got one

  • +1

Its not the cheapest the passenger train has ever gotten to, I picked it up for $119.20 during the Click Frenzy sale.

Actually it was down to $95 in an Amazon lightning deal. The modulars here are a steal though

      • Do you have to check amazon deals ahead of time everyday to find them? Or there is a better way ‘not to miss out’?

        • +1

          Sure, I use camelcamelcamel

Just set some alerts for things you want to buy and the price you're willing to pay.

    • Click frenzy was bigw derp.

  • Great prices! I bought the bottle for $119 from Lego online. Got a Xmas box though.

  • Had my eye on the Ship for a while, this is the best price I've seen.

  • Weird, failed to place an order twice when I selected Click & Collect, but succeeded when I selected shipping.

    • Same here

    • Same here when I ordered the JBL Flip 4 recently. Order wouldn’t complete unless delivery selected.

    • same here, can't pick up at Sydney city, has to select delivery, which luckily is free :D

    • same

    • Can't collect from Brisbane City either. I really want this before the end of next week ugh.

I just spoke to eBay about this very issue and they are aware of it and investigating.

I don't need it but man that ship in a bottle is cool.

    • i bought it anyway lol, saw the good reviews for this piece and hope i'll be happy with it too

  • Prepare for some possible cancellations people, Myer sent me this email update about 2 hours after I placed my order:

THERE'S BEEN A DELAY WITH YOUR ORDER

Due to limited stock, your item(s) are currently delayed. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We're working to get this to you as soon as possible and we'll email you when your order is ready.

The Lego thread on Whirlpool has numerous cases of people receiving these emails since November, after a popular sale item ran out of stock, followed by a cancellation and refund.

    • Yeah, pretty ordinary effort by Myer in those cases.

I got in early with the ship in a bottle, so hoping for the best. But really, Myer can keep my money and just sit tight until stock comes back. Ship in a bottle isn't a retiring model.

  • Lol.. Check this out on the Ship in a Bottle

  • Omg they canceled my order

    • Same here. Click and collect cancelled.

Trying to buy again but seems out of stock.

      • Also got cancelled today, but the item showed up again just then, so I brought it again. Fingers crossed.

        • This item isn't available in the requested quantity. It may have been purchased already, or the listing has expired.

          i can't place a new order

  • The ship has sailed for me, got an order update saying it was ready for dispatch yesterday.

Weirdly enough, the order is being fulfilled by a Myer branch about 20 minutes away from me, the very same one I attempted twice to select as the Click & Collect point instead of having it delivered, only to have the order fail twice when Click & Collect was selected instead of home delivery.

  • Lol purchased same train from bigw for $119 the other day.
