Converting Virtual Visa Card in USD to AUD

I have got multiple virtual visa cards with $10.50 USD each (expires in 6 months) and trying to figure out the most cost effective way to consolidate them as well as converting to AUD

  • Do not generally purchase from US sites or sites that charge in USD unless its some supercheap ozb deal
  • Have a couple paypal accounts and already looked at invoicing one another or adding the card and transfer via F&F (lose about $0.56 USD even before currency conversion)
  • Looked at Divipay but maybe long wait over 1400 people infront of me to signup and re-release in early 2019
  • I could buy from AUD sites but restricted to approx $14 then have cards with odd amounts left due to conversion
  • Last resort would be pay part of utility bills but unsure if they would allow plus trying to figure out the exact amount due to conversion

Any other ideas/option?

Strongly doubt it. This company is a joke, don't trust a word they say since their 4 failed relaunch attempts.

    • Yeah I wouldn't count on it also.

  • My thinking is because the currency is all USD and on multiple cards by the sounds of it you first will want to find a way to unify all the amounts into one large amount in USD first before taking the process of converting it to Australian dollars.

But I guess that's really going to depend on what the fees are like for foreign transactions on the cards? I'm guessing you also don't have any ties to the US e.g. a former? or current citizen?

  • Do you buy anything from Amazon US? You can load the gift cards onto your account.
