Anyone know whether items bought using gift cards are eligible for the purchase protection insurance that comes with credit cards? DJs and Myer have 10% gift cards so keen on getting a bargain with buying gift cards but also keen to retain the purchase protection.
In my opinion, no. Not paying for goods through credit card, if pay by gift card.
