Where and When to Find Cheap CPU’s?

I’m looking for either 6th or 7th gen intel cpu in the i5 or i7 range but haven’t found any decent sales for the past few months. Anyone know where to look?

  Unless you really need intel for whatever reason, I would suggest considering ryzen. Way more bang for buck

  CPUs are practically bulletproof, especially now that they don't have pins
