  good price compared to other stores

  Aldi in Queensland (where bananas were invented) had them for $8.99 for regular, 9.99 for lady finger.

  That's good - I managed to find regular bananas in Vic Markets for $5 a kilo (on Tuesday) - and thought I'd won the jackpot.

    i reckon they've artificially increased the prices way beyond what they should be and the middlemen are using Yasi as an excuse to make more profits…
