  • Anyone know if the 3SIXT USB Type C 3.1 Charge and Sync work as an adapter for a usb stick with a type A connector?

    • +1

I have a similar one and it works fine with my Galaxy Tablet as an adapter for a usb stick.

    • Expired from previous deal.
      Now the deal comes back.

      • Yes

Yep, these are zinc chloride batteries. Only good for low-drain devices, like clocks, remotes, etc.

            @Bob81: Good information I didn't know that.

    • Do. Not. Buy. Extra. Heavy. Duty. Batteries. Ever.
      They should be banned.
And no - I am certainty not a greeny.

      • Why ????
I suppose you wanted someone to ask the question ………

        • They have crap output/short lifespan.
          Just more landfill.

  • Anyone can confirm that the type C to type A is USB 3.1 or USB 2.0. The picture shows the type A socket is black and USB 3.1 should be blue.

    • +1

      It is blue.

    • +1

      It is blue.

    • The chances of this being 3.1 are about one in 360.

      • Hey there's no ee in 3sixt

      • Box says "Supports USB 3.1 Gen 1". AKA 3.0.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Just grabbed the 3SIXT USB-C to USB-A Adapter. Marked as $29.95 but scanned as $3. If they're trying to clear them out then they might have more luck if they actually put the right price on them.

Just tested it with my phone and a flash drive and it seemed to work fine. Phone and mouse too. Might grab another.

    • Too late! Back up to $29.95.
