  Any way to find out if it's the M*A*S*H shown in the US or the UK? US version had a laugh track which for something like that was wholly inappropriate while the UK version didn't.

    I'm not sure but if it's similar to the boxset I have at home which is Region 4 there is an option for English and English without Laugh Track

    Not sure sure that that is accurate about the difference between US & UK versions.

    My brother bought the original Region 4 DVD boxsets about 10 years ago. When I borrowed & viewed them, all seasons had the option to view with or without the annoying laughter-track. Many (not all) PAL format DVD releases were both Region 2+4 back then.

    One of the seasons I stopped watch the TV series about 40 years back when MASH moved from 7 network to qo to 10 was because they began to broadcast with the laughter track. Never bothered to watch again until I viewed my brother's DVDs.

    No. And it is annoying. I also like to filter out as well as sort them alphabetical.
