Just a suggestion for the website. When deals are reported as duplicates from other users would be it cool if the duplicate deal that is closed has a link to the original deal?
This still reduces the clutter but still allows easier access to more deals compared to having to search for it.

It does. You can click on it and it will take you to the unpublished deal.
If the deal is unpublished for any other reason, such as low quantity, it may either take you to a Wiki page explaining the guideline or to a merged forum thread.
