      Same price in the Tas Metro catalogue. It used to pop up at this price quite a bit but now the sales are more likely to be $4.40. I was very happy to see it at $4 when I looked through this week's catalogue.

      Technically no (no hops, malt), but they ferment the yeast so the process has similarities with that of beermaking. All ginger beer made properly like this would be slightly alcoholic, but most including this fall into the <0.5% ABV non-alcoholic category.

      Yeah the diet one has cane sugar in it… on top of the ginger. Guess they couldn't get the flavour they wanted with just the artificial sweeteners. It is better than 40g of sugar though.

        The 4.5g sugar is probably the amount from the yeast fermentation… wouldn't happen with sweetener.
