  • I was hoping this deal was as good as the nikon speedlight deal yesterday for $266 at amazon

    • Would mind sharing the Ozbargain link for $266 if have any please?

      • Yesterday lightning deals nikon SB-700 was claimed 100%. I didn't see in ozb. I was too late too last night when I saw it in Amazon website. would be excellent deal + $50 cashback + 10% off from shopback. I was surprised no one posting it here. I notice amazon sneakily added deals.

    • ohh wher is the link, I don't have a nikon flash and after market ones often seem to lack a feature or 2.

  • Somebody was asking why they don't do a 18-300mm D3500 deal … now I know why …
My 18-135 will have to do for a few years more.

    • What do you mean by that?

      • Referring to the fact that this lense costs more than the camera and the two lenses it comes with.

        • I see, but you can get fairly good resale value on these lenses when the time comes to sell

      • D3500 is entry level camera, they bundle the 18-55 for keep it under $500 or add a 300mm zoom and keep it under $700 … people just getting into DSLR eg D3500 would get price shock as it would be a $1100 bundle on a good day for D3500 and the 18-300.

    • It was me, this lense is worth it at this price for sure. I got mine over 12 months ago for $980 after 20% off. So good for everyday use without stuffing about switching.

      • tempting … tempting …..

  • Jack of all trades, master of none.

    • +1

bought it … yep, zooms in this range are always a compromise, the longer the range, the bigger the comprinise, but it's hell of a lot better than a phone, and composition always plays a large part in pictures, and convenience does make people take more pictures hence the chatter on phone forums about quality of pictures phones take, I know my 18-105 makes me take more pictures due to convenience of one lens, hope this is as good as my 18-105.

For $541 after cash back if it makes me take more pictures, or compose better pictures it has done it's job.
