    Targeted?

    • Yeah, three possiblities: none/6c/10c. However, flybuys card numbers can be easily shared.

coles servo always 10cents litre more then most petrol stations around me here in QLD.

    • ColesWorth have been responsible for keeping fuel prices way over the odds in Canberra for years. Joined Costco primarily to thumb my noise at the cartel.

      • They are all thieves. If you do the math, the highest cost I have seen unleaded this year is $1.65 on the gold coast, QLD and if you take into account the price of oil at the time of $75usd, we should be paying about $1 per litre right now. Oil is trading at $44 and it went as low as $40. The lowest I have seen fuel is $1.12c yet that is only about 30% down from the highest price, oil's lowest price hit almost 50% off its high and is currently trading at about 40% lower than the high which means today we should be paying about $1.65 - 40% and the lowest price should have hit sub $1 on the gold coast but were lucky to see it at $1.15 this last week or 2

        • Amen

  • Hasn't it been established that these promotions result in losses for the participants rather than savings?

    • Usually… Very occasionally there is a marginal saving.

  • I filled up the other day with the last 10c off and the attendant said if I bring in a receipt as well, I can stack the 4c onto it. Does it matter if you scan your flybuys card at the time of getting the receipt as I thought the fuel vouchers just went on the flybuys account, or is there a barcode on the receipt regardless?

    • For Coles, 4c/l off docket from supermaket shop is not linked to a flybuys card. It must be physically presented upon redemption.

IIRC, Woolie Rewards loads the fuel discount onto your account automatically so you don't need to keep the groceries receipts.
Flybuys doesn't, so you definitely need the groceries receipts to get the extra 4c off.

P/s: groceries receipts refer to that from shopping at the corresponding supermarkets (i.e. Woolworths, Coles), not their fuel station counterpart (Woolie Caltex, Coles Express) and I think it needs to be over certain amount spend ($25 from memory) before you get the discount barcode.

      • It is $30 spend. Any 3rd party giftcard purchase also counts toward the $30 spend to get the fuel docket in this case.

    • I thought the fuel vouchers just went on the flybuys account

      That's Woollies…

I got the 6c offer. Anyone who got the 10c offer willing to DM their Stocard flybuys barcode? Thanks in advance

I noticed Coles Express put their price up 15 cents yesterday. Now I know why…

  • Save $0.10/L on Every Petrol Purchase

    Reported for misleading title…

    • They invariably have a 150l limit even for non-targeted offers so it's wrong anyway.

  • No love for LPG or diesel.

  • Would be great if one could get 98 octane in Tas from Coles Express/Shell. On a tangent, what's the best alternative? I've been going to Caltex but haven't tried BP or others. I shop at Coles so discount dockets from them are useless.

  • I'm going to neg this vote.
Coles are more expensive then any other fuel station in the NT.
