Large (Portable) Bluetooth Speakers around $250?

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a large bluetooth speaker in the $250 - $350 price range. It doesn't have to be super portable, but I'd like it to have a battery if possible. I know the Sony XB60 is on sale right now for $250, but I've heard that the sound quality is kind of muddy. Any opinions on the XB60 compared to something like the JBL Xtreme 2? I also know the JBL Boombox has been on sale for about $360 before, but I can't seem to find it for that price at the moment.

Any recommendations on large, single hifi systems/speakers like the XB60 or boombox are welcome. I've been looking for some on sale, but it seems like most are still RRP.

  Go to Jb and hear them. Depends on what music you are wanting to play on it. Sony has good bass.

  We have a Megaboom 2 for our workshop and it does a great job. Super loud. I would imagine the MB3 would be an improvement over the 2…

  I definitely recommend the JBL.

  Check out Jims Review Room I've bought a lot of my bluetooth speakrs and headphones because of his thorough reviews. Currently using the JBL Charge 3.
